Environmental Laboratory Position (full-time)

Job Description:

Small environmental company in business for 25+ years is seeking a professionally minded individual for an entry level position in the company’s accredited environmental laboratory. Responsibilities include administrative record-keeping and technical support tasks. This position requires thorough documentation skills, a team-based conscientious work ethic, and a bachelor’s degree in a science field. Some laboratory experience is preferred. Experience on GC/MS is a plus.  Valid driver’s license is required.

Position: Environmental Field Technician

Job Description: Coordinate and execute a variety of field tasks. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to, assisting with the collection of environmental samples from various media including soil, groundwater, surface water and soil vapor. Strong mechanical skills are required. Will need to be capable of operating MEA’s direct-push drill rig and Hydrovac units as well as manage the inventory of all field supplies and tools. Will be required to assist with the design, installation, and maintenance of project remediation systems. May assist with monitoring/recovery well installation, and site surveying. Position requires approximately 90% field time and possible overnight travel (limited). Forty-hour OSHA training is a plus. Position requires a valid driver’s license.
